  2. Are there any other alt.winsock newsgroups besides this one?
  3.  
  4. I don't automagically see all the alt newgroups and our admin
  5. folks have to add them.
  6.  
  7. I'm especially interested in those for winsock app developers.

  117. We're currently testing a product we've written on different Winsock
  118. stacks. Unf, we're having problems. Anyone out there with any experience
  119. doing this? Of course, things SHOULD work just fine, but ...

  121. Under FTP 1.10 WSAAsyncGetHostByAddr() can't even get launched.
  122. WSAGetLastError() returns 0 so I'm a bit stuck here.

  124. Under Frontier the above call succeeds, but when the msg gets delivered, it
  125. fails, with WSAGetLastError() again 0, while WSAASYNCERROR(lParam) is
  126. WSAENOBUFS and WSAASYNCBUFLEN varies between about 50 to 60. This isn't
  127. right, as I'm passing it a buffer of MAXGETHOSTSIZE.

  129. This is VERY strange, as under Woolongong, all the above works just fine.
